Bloodseeker

Carry Style Bloodseeker
Bloodseeker's Epic Story
An unusual hybrid of Demon and Orc, Strygwyr is an outcast amongst all mortal creatures. By thriving on and bathing himself with the blood of those he slays, Strygwyr can heal his wounds - even those that could prove

fatal. Beware the fool who dares venturing alone, for Strygwyr can sense his blood miles away and gain vision through his helpless prey's eyes. Having ruptured the enemy with mighty blows in his bloodthirsty frenzies, Strygwyr corners his foe

into making the impossible decision - bleed to death by trying to outrun the hasty demon, or be ripped to shreds in its awesome fury.
Bloodseeker's Epic Introduction
Imbued with shamanistic and demonic powers, Strygwyr is able to replenish his health with the lives he takes, as well as sense weakened souls which allow him to go into a blood frenzy, increasing his movement speed so he can chase down

the enemy; if the hunted attempts to escape, Strygwyr will curse him to lose health if he moves. Up close and personal, the Bloodseeker can empower himself to almost double his damage, becoming on par even with the toughest fighters.
Pros n Cons
Pros:
[+] A very good hybrid between a ganker and a carry
[+] One of the most feared heroes
[+] One of the heroes with the fastest attack animation
[+] Great agility and good strength growth.

Cons:
[-] Paper hero at early to mid game without proper blood bathing.
[-] Uses alot of mana to continuously use bloodrage to boost your damage/silent a target.
[-] Tanky heroes with BM can kill him.
[-] Using bloodrage on other carries can be suicide for your team and you.

THE GUIDE

Bloodrage
Drives a unit into a bloodthristy rage. That unit is unable to cast spells, has its attack damage increased, and loses a small amount of hit points every second

Blood Bath
Whenever Strygwyr kills a unit, he bathes himself in the blood, regenerating his life source.

Strygwyr's Thirst
Enables Strygwyr to sense the bleeding of any enemy hero below 40% hp. If he finds one, Strygwyr gains vision of that unit and increased movement speed.

Rupture
Deals a mighty blow to the enemy causing any movement to result in bleeding and loss of life.

Skill Explanation

Blood Rage

When to use:

When you feel like you're going to die from a nuke, when you have cast rupture and a spell caster can stun you from chasing your ruptured target.

Use this to silence and nuke your squishy enemies, don't use it on carries.

NOTE:When an ally wants you to deny him with this, stay far away from exp range, you will get experience if you do that.

Blood Bath

How to use:
Simply kill a unit , be it mechanical, organic, enemies or allies, you can gain health from killing enemy heroes too, just make sure to max this after Blood Rage, following level 3-4 of thirst.

Strygwyr's Thirst

Using this:
Bloodseeker is a rapist when this is on, immediately chase the half-dead hero and cast rupture, if you have already cast rupture, then bloodrage him/yourself(depends, if he's a spellcaster/stunner, then simply silence him) then hit your target, if you have crystalys, this should be easy, you deal around 300 damage with blood rage on when crit occurs, leave this at level 2 at early game, and max it later on.

Rupture

This spell is awesome, cast this if you're ganking/hunting an enemy, then simply scare him away and keep chasing him, he'll be dead in a few runs.

Rikimaru Guide

I. Guide IntroductionBack to Table of Contents

This is my third guide. Now I'll show you how to use Rikimaru in my own style. Again, take note that this guide does not show you how to play Rikimaru professionally, it shows you some tips and tricks on how to play Rikimaru in my personal way. This guide is strictly for PUBS, not in competitive games. For those people who red my Barathrum Guide "Mother Earth Guide Me" and my Lina Guide "Click me baby, One more time", I want to thank you for reading it.  By the way my original Lina Guide was deleted because 1/2 of its content wasn't saved because my DSL crashed!  So I decided to make this as its "Reincarnation".  No offending comments or insults in this guide; otherwise, I'll add you in my ignore list. Ok then, let's begin....

II. Hero Introduction and StoryBack to Table of Contents

The Stealth Assassin's ultimate allows him to passively regain Invisibility after an attack or using an ability. He could be anywhere, at any time, and therein lies his strength. His preferred attack is obviously to Backstab someone, inflicting greater damage as he grows more agile. He can also Blink Strike towards his enemies to quickly get in range of attack, making it even harder to escape or catch him. Once he decides to reveal himself, Rikimaru can unleash a Smoke Screen in a moderate area, which gradually expands, silencing anyone inside, slowing them down, and causing them to miss. Only a fool would continue fighting while blind, deaf and dumb, but Assassins have no room for remorse.

III. Pros and ConsBack to Table of Contents

(+)High Armor and Agility Gain.
(+)Has one of the best ambush/escape mechanisms in the game.
(+)Excellent Last-Hitting animation which makes last-hitting creeps a piece of cake.
(+)Can deal more damage with his Backstab ability when attacking from behind of course.
(+)Can easily scout anywhere in the map thanks to his Permanent Invisiblity.
(+)One of the best carries in the game.
(+)The rest are for you to state them.

IV. When(not) to pick RikimaruBack to Table of Contents

1). Your team is full of disablers.
2). The enemy team is full of carries.
3). The enemy team has less or no silencers and disablers.
4). Your team needs a scout.
5). You're Lucky.
6). You're a good farmer.

V. Skills and its UsageBack to Table of Contents

I don't want to copy the statistics of Rikimaru's Skills. If you want to know the statistics about his skills, click here.

Smoke Screen

Throws a smoke bomb down in the area, silencing opponents and causing them to miss on most of their attacks. Also slows by 25% at all levels.

Notes:
- Does not silence castable items.

This is your silence skill. This is very useful in making spellcasters shut the fuck up, slowing down enemies and causing physical attacks to miss by chance which is definitely worth it (the miss chance can be countered by MKB). Place your smoke screen carefully behind enemies then, along with your Backstab Ability, attack the enemy to death from behind. Backstabbing enemies while under your smoke screen is better if you have a Diffusal Blade, a Sange and Yasha and an Abyssal Blade to prevent the enemy from escaping your smoke screen area of effect. Here's an example:

VI. Skill Build and Item BuildBack to Table of Contents

Skill Build:

Level 1: Blink Strike(1)
Level 2: Smoke Screen(1)
Level 3: Backstab(1)
Level 4: Blink Strike(2)
Level 5: Blink Strike(3)
Level 6: Permanent Invisibility(1)
Level 7: Blink Strike(4)
Level 8: Backstab(2)
Level 9: Backstab(3)
Level 10: Backstab(4)
Level 11: Permanent Invisibility(2)
Level 12: Smoke Screen(2)
Level 13: Smoke Screen(3)
Level 14: Smoke Screen(4)
Level 15: Stats(1)
Level 16: Permanent Invisibility(3)
Level 17-25: Stats(2-10)

Explanation: This is my personal skill build for Rikimaru. We need to maximize Blink Strike and Backstab first since these two skills are the key to a better kill than Smoke Screen but just get at least one level of Smoke Screen early game during laning phase then maximize it later. Maximize your ultimate and your stats when you reach level 16 and above.

Explanation: These are my personal starting items. You're going to need 2 branches for some stats and to upgrade it into a Magic Wand, 2 Slippers for some extra damage and to convert it into a Poor Man's Shield and lastly, some consumable items to recover from received damage while laning.

VII. Game StrategyBack to Table of Contents

In Early Game you're not as effective as you look right now since you're a late gamer and you're dangerous late game. Buy your starting items then go to your respective lane. If you're laning, better ask someone from your team to babysit you since you have little lane control whatsoever but when you have a strong laner (Huskar,Vengeful, etc), better participate in their harassments and battles. Since you need a smoke to survive laning phase, better use it in your lane partner's advantages and strategies. Take only top or bottom lane; do not pick the middle lane since you're not a mid solo hero. Farm as many creeps as possible and try to avoid any harassment from the enemy in your lane. If you're having a hard time laning against an enemy, don't be shy to call for a lane switch or gank. Once you reach level 6, laning will be easy for you since you have permament invisibility. When you have half of your core, better scout for some ganks. ALWAYS check your enemies' items every time in the game because you may never know if they have true sight to counter you. If you see any of your enemies holding true sight items, avoid them and ask help from your teammates.

I have an example here of a laning phase battle and I'll show you why smoke screen is important to get during laning phase:

VIII. Hero Synergy and CountersBack to Table of Contents

Disablers/Stunners:

They hold down the enemy in place while you start hitting them and send them back to their fountain. They are frenemies. Homies on our side, homo on the other side.

Babysitters:

They ensure your security and safety. Since your a carry, someone needs to look after you.

DPS Amplifiers:

Your going to love them since they amplify your DPS. Who doesn't love them?

Huskar guide

. Guide IntroductionBack to Table of Contents

Hello. This is my other guide and this time I'll show you how to play Huskar in my personal way. Take not that this guide does not teach you how to play Huskar in a professional way, it'll show you how I play Huskar in a way own way. This guide is strictly for PUBS, not in competitive games. No offending or rude comments; otherwise, I'll put you in my ignore list. Well then, let's begin...

II. Hero Introduction and StoryBack to Table of Contents

Huskar is unique in being the only strength hero with a regular ranged physical attack, giving him the advantages of a ranged hero and the survivability of a strength hero. Although he is a powerful force at all stages, Huskar is especially dangerous early in the game when his Burning Spears can quickly decimate any foe. Huskar can find his life quickly drained away by this ability, and must be careful to balance harassment and defense. Due to his Berserker's Blood passive, Huskar is at his most deadly when he is injured: as he gets more and more damaged, he gains damage and attack speed. Combined with his Inner Vitality healing spell, Berserker's Blood can quickly turn what may have appeared to be a losing situation into a resounding victory. His powerful Life Break ability emphasizes this suicidal fighting style, causing immense damage to both the target and Huskar himself. However, while Huskar increases in power the more damage he takes, it is unlikely that his unlucky target can say the same.

III. Pros and ConsBack to Table of Contents

(+)One of the best ranged carries in the game.
(+)A very dangerous opponent 1v1 thanks to his Berserker's Blood.
(+)Can take down heavy tankers with his ultimate.
(+)Excellent harassing ability and lane control with his Burning Spears which makes him a dangerous foe in laning phase.
(+)One of the best healers in the game.
(+)He doesn't need mana much.
(+)IMBA damage and attack speed when in critical HP.
(+)State the rest.

IV. When(not) to pick HuskarBack to Table of Contents

1). Your team has a lot of disablers.
2). The enemy team has a lot of carries.
3). The enemy team have few or no disablers and nukers.
4). The enemy team has a tanker (Centaur, Axe, etc.).
5). Your team needs a carry.
6). Your'e lucky.
7). You're a good farmer.

V. Skills and its UsageBack to Table of Contents
I really don't want to copy all the statistics of his skills. If you want to know it, click here

Inner Vitality

Magically unlocks the potential regenerative power within a target unit, healing its life force based upon its primary attribute. If the target is below 40% it will heal faster.

Notes:
- The hp percentage is checked every second and the regeneration adjusted accordingly.

This is your healing skill. This is not as useful as it is in early game so save it for late game because it heals based on your primary attribute. Since Huskar's a Strength Hero, his main attribute is strength so more strength you have, the more you'll heal faster. Once you have a lot of Strength from your luxury items, you'll heal faster so this is very effective in late game like what I've said before. The best part of this skill is that this skill does not dispel when you're under attack and you heal faster the more you're injured so its a very good skill for everyone who's in bad shape. Use this when you or your friends are critically injured (If you or your allies' HP is 40% or below); also, use this when you're in low HP while fighting a carry because the high regeneration will keep you alive longer during a battle. Don't forget that this cost mana though.

I have here a link to an amazing WoDota video about Huskar. In part 5:34 to 6:00 of the video, you'll see how [Yakuza]Kraizer (The Huskar player) owned the entire team all by himself. It'll show you how to switch orbs (Lifesteal and Burning Spear) in certain situations, how to use Inner Vitality in terms of Survivability (especially when you're HP is 40% and below), and on how to use Armlet in restoring little HP when you're in critical HP. Here's the video link: DotA - WoDotA Top10 Weekly Vol.97

VI. Skill Build and Item BuildBack to Table of Contents

Skill Build:
Level 1: Burning Spear(1)
Level 2: Berserker's Blood(1)
Level 3: Burning Spear(2)
Level 4: Berserker's Blood(2)
Level 5: Burning Spear(3)
Level 6: Life Break(1)
Level 7: Berserker's Blood(3)
Level 8: Burning Spear(4)
Level 9: Berserker's Blood(4)
Level 10: Inner Vitality(1)
Level 11: Life Break(2)
Level 12: Inner Vitality(2)
Level 13: Inner Vitality(3)
Level 14: Inner Vitality(4)
Level 15: Stats(1)
Level 16: Life Break(3)
Level 17-25: Stats(2-10)

Explanation: This is my personal skill build for Huskar. We need to maximize Burning Spear and Berserker's Blood first since this will give you the advantage in early game and in mid game. Then we level up Inner Vitality since this is effective when you have your luxuries (especially in when you have your Strength items) in late game. We then maximize you Life Break and your stats to full.

These are the basic starting items. We need to buy two branches for some stats; two Gauntlets of Ogre Strength for some extra damage and to upgrade one Gauntlet into an Ancient Janggo of Endurance; we need some consumables like a Tango and a Salve to recover some health from received damage.

VII. Game StrategyBack to Table of Contents

Early Game your very effective since you have your Burning Spears. Buy your starting items and pick a lane. Pick whatever lane you want though but make sure you can control the lane with your own hands. When you're laning, harass as much as possible if you're laning against someone with little or no lane control and try to avoid any harassment from the enemy if you can especially when your fighting nukers. Last-hit and deny creeps as much as you can and try to get fat. If you're having a hard time laning against your opponent(s), call for a lane switch or jungle in the woods (Jungling is optional, but I highly recommend switching lanes). If you're handling a lane alone and you decided to farm in the jungle, ask one of your teammates to handle your former lane immediately. Once you reach level 6, gank lone carries and try not to let them get fat. MAKE THEIR LIVES A LIVING HELL! You can kill any carry alone in early game but when you're fighting nukers, bring someone since you can't kill them easily (they can kill you after you use Life Break so be aware of that). If you're in critical HP while fighting a carry, DON'T FALL BACK! Attack them until you die or when you kill them with your own hands. But if you're in critical HP and you encounter a nuker, FALL BACK! They can kill you easily if you're in critical HP.

Here's an example of an early game 1v1 fight:

VIII. Hero Synergy and CountersBack to Table of Contents

Disablers/Stunners:

They hold down the enemy in place while you do the rest. They are frenemies. Homies on our side, homo on the other side.

Babysitters:

They ensure your safety and security. Omniknight is useful as he provides us with free BKB to prevent you from getting damaged by your Life Break; also, his heal and his ultimate is just that cool.

DPS Amplifiers:

Your going to love them since they amplify your DPS. Who doesn't love them?

Special Mentions:

One of your best friends. Witch Doctor can babysit you with his Voodoo Restoration. His stun is also great since you it'll give time to orbwalk the enemy. What's better is if you use Life Break and you hit them with your spears while enemy his affected by his Maledict, each "tick" will hurt a lot!

Viper is one of the best allies for Huskar. Why? Because first, if you cast Life Break, his DPS grows because of his Nethertoxin (Remember the lower the enemy's HP is, the more Viper can deal damage). Second, you two are orbwalkers so you can control a lane easily if you're with him. When you two are together, no one can stop you.

Rylai also serves as a great ally for Huskar. Her slow and her disable gives you time to orbwalk to enemy; plus, her global aura is great especially in late game since it gives you mana to cast Inner Vitality as much as you want (Inner Vitality is effective in late game especially when you have most of your Luxuries).

Dazzle is a very good ally for Huskar as well. He can heal you while your laning with him. He can slow the enemy so you can orbwalk them. His ultimate is just that great since it gives you all the armor you need to be beefy and you can deal more damage to the enemy with your spears. What's better is his Shallow Grave allows you to deal more damage with your spears when you're in critical HP while it prevents you from dying. Oooooohhh.. YOU LOVE HIM A LOT!

Your best friend. He can babysit you while you're laning with him and his aura has great synergy with your Burning Spears. What's better is this: Life Break + Reaper's Scythe = Dead Enemy.

IX. ConclusionBack to Table of Contents

In my opinion Huskar is one of the best carries in DOTA due to his set of skills. Well, that's everything I can give. Don't mess with the bad guy.
